Tig Carson I'm currently working my butt off to get Book 2 and 3 of 'The Space Story Series' finished by this summer. I'm also filming my popular YouTube show 'Hours In The Attic' at the same time, so time will tell.

Book 2 is in the proofreading and cover art process as we speak, so fingers crossed!
Tig Carson Hey Hans! I'd have to say my writing was mostly influenced by two things - Growing up surrounded by lots of trees (gave me lots of time to daydream and explore) and getting to watch tons of really cheesy 80's movies and television. Ice Pirates was definitely one of them! That movie was like a demented, sarcastic, Star Wars! Perfect fodder for a kid my age.

I want to thank you for giving my book a read! I hope it brought you some pleasure, and several chuckles. Now if you don't mind, all this talk has got me in the mood to watch Ice Pirates again. It's been too long!
Tig Carson I got the idea for "A Space Story" years ago while working long, lonely shifts as a projectionist in a movie theater. I wasted the long hours in the booth daydreaming about what an alien might think of Earth, if all he had to go on were our movies and music. Maybe he would be inspired to visit and even become a hero himself. It snowballed from there.
Tig Carson The best advice I can give is to write, even when you don't feel like it. It's the only reason I finished my novel. If you only accomplish a few sentences... it's more than nothing, and often leads to ideas you might never have had.

Also, remember that writing fiction is a form of entertainment, and you're part of the audience. If a character isn't entertaining to you... odds are it won't be to anyone else.
Tig Carson Music and long car rides, preferably done at the same time. That seems to get things moving creatively for me. I often find a song that inspires me and play it over and over while I drive around aimlessly. Long showers also work.
