Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
For one, we have a strong woman who's toe to toe with her man. She has a backbone, which is so difficult to find, especially given the time the book is set in.
Darcy has an inherent righteousness about him which he does not lay for others to see; he's the brooding type who matches Elizabeth, despite the differences the two have.
Plus the romance is there, and not there. It just adds to the charm of the couple.

I began writing in December 2012 when I was on an academic break and had some free time in hand. My initial story (not published) was one that had been with me for many years. I took some time to develop the plot, wrote down ten chapters, and after being satisfied that I could devote time to it, posted it on an online forum.
Love~Life~Labyrinth followed a month after that.

Hello Nidhi.
I wanted to write a story with a corporate setting, where the protagonists work in the same company, with a bit of an office romance thrown in. However, I did not want to go down the trodden path of the female lead being subservient to the male lead, by being his personal assistant. Hence the character of Kavya was worked in such a manner that she would come to work with Varun, but also would have a holding of her own.

The most important thing is to not let frustration creep in. Taking a break from writing helps.
On the side, keep reading, pursuing other hobbies. Writer's block is a temporary phase; you only worsen it by harping over it.
Alternately, and if you have another story being written simultaneously, focus on it for the moment.

The joy of creation. My experience at the end of a story has always been that of accomplishment; the portrayal of an alternate world through a tale, and the prospect of entertaining readers through the same.

Do not be hasty would be my first and foremost advice.
It is easy to get a preliminary idea for a story. However you cannot write a book just on that. Spend some time upon it, keep on jotting points on a regular basis.
Every story needs an outline. Also, writers should make sure that they have the outline written down. Many a times stories lose track because they do not stay true to what was promised earlier in the course of the plot.

I'm not writing anything currently, but have a few stories waiting to be published.

I wasn't really keen on writing till the time I actually started typing. Stories were many, all running in my mind. Let's just say that some free time in hand, and a strong urge to pen down a story close to my heart (not published) could be touted as my primary inspiration.

The idea for Love~Life~Labyrinth spawned from many things. I wanted to write about multiple characters, each having a pivotal role. A visit to a dairy factory over three years ago propelled the ideation for a backdrop to the story.
