Tanya Detrik In writing this, my first book, I didn't experience writer's block. When I sat down to write, it was from a feeling of desire to do so. Many times I struggled with what to write, or how to express what I wanted to say.

In my professional copywriting, writer's block does happen . . . when ideas don't flow. What that happens, I go for a walk or look through magazines to move my mind off of the problem at hand. It always works.
