If you are a writer, then write. Write for yourself. Write what you would want to read. Write about what interests you and what you have a passion for. Do your research and take your writing seriously. Write because you love it, not because you want to be rich and famous.

I get to explore other lives and other perspectives. I get to see what I wouldn't normally be able to see. I can live and spawn other lives and realities. I can take myself and my readers on an adventure or help them see a way past their pain. It allows me to be free and escape from the real world.

Currently I am working on a collection of Tanka poetry called A Leaf on the Wind. I recently just became of Tanka poetry and was inspired by it. A love the format of Haiku's and a Tanka is an expansion of that. I am also working on a collection of short stories and a film documentary about addiction and recovery.

If I could travel to a fictional book, it would be The Expanse by James S. A. Corey. I have always been fascinated and in love with space and space travel. The world that they created for The Expanse is rich and full of life and wonderment. I couldn't imagine a better place to go.
