Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
C.A. Coffey, Claudia Barnard Coffey My favorite fictional couple is Reverend Tim and Cynthia Kavanagh. These two are people I could see myself visiting with and loving my visit. It is kind of like Andy and Barney - another fictional couple. Reading about Jan Karon's Father Tim and Cynthia from the Mitford series makes me feel like I'm coming home.

My mother Peggy Barnard Harris is still living and loved it also. Her mother was a Holt so that gun is a great story along with everything you put in the book. How do you get inspired to write?
C.A. Coffey, Claudia Barnard Coffey My genealogical research inspired me to bring the people to life that I had discovered. I know their lives were more than a dash between birth and death, just as our lives are now.

What are you currently working on?
C.A. Coffey, Claudia Barnard Coffey Currently I'm working on getting my first book out into the light. I'm researching my next book about my mother's family. It will be a good bookend, I hope, for the book I have just released about my father's family.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
C.A. Coffey, Claudia Barnard Coffey Stop listening to that little voice in your head saying all those negative words and just write. Write for yourself and write what you like to read.
