Lucy Edwards Thank you! I love it too! I don't have a release date just yet but I'm working on it and it should be with you soon :)
Lucy Edwards I think for me, its piecing together a story that hasn't already been done to death. I'm never short for book ideas and I find myself scribbling down rough ideas all through the day but then I read through some of them and realise that they've either already been done or they've been over done to the point where pool don't want to read about them anymore. If I'm really adamant that I want to write an idea that's already been done then I try to put my own spin on it and change it up a little.
Lucy Edwards I'm glad you enjoyed them :) I will definitely miss writing about the Callens. I got weirdly attached to them all lol. But their stories have been told now so I'll be moving on to something else. I've got tonnes of new ideas so I'm sure I'll be getting to work on something soon :) x
Lucy Edwards I've actually decided not to do a seperate book about each brother. I'm going to write one book and have the three of them tell their parts so it sort of joins into one book. Well that's what I'm attempting anyway :)
Lucy Edwards Honestly, I'm thrilled to bits just by seeing that people have added it to their 'to read' list. I love reading the reviews to see what people think because whether it's a good or bad review, that person has taken the time to read what I've written and that in itself means a lot. Obviously it's great to get a high star rating and I appreciate every single one of them but I'm more than happy that people actually take a chance on my work :) xx
Lucy Edwards I'm currently working on the second Callen book now. There were no plans originally for a second but so many people have asked for more so I thought I'd give it a go. Thank you for your great review and I hope you enjoy the next one :) x
Lucy Edwards Thank you Hannah! I'm glad you're enjoying them. I'm still thinking on the the whole Callen follow up. I only ever intended on writing a stand alone but if I could make a follow up work then I'd consider it. I'd just rather be sure that it would make a good storyline before going ahead with it. As for other plans, I've got absolutely tonnes. My brain has a severe problem shutting off so I've got so many new ideas that I just have to decide on one. I'll be sure to let you know though. Thanks again x
Lucy Edwards Hi Kelly, I'm actually quite shocked that a few people have asked me this. Im really pleased that people would like to read more. After a few people asked me, I thought about it but being a fairly new writer i'm concerned that I may not be able to make it work. I'm definitely re-thinking the idea but haven't quite decided as yet :)x
Lucy Edwards Thank you Linda :)
I am working on something at the moment, its in the early stages but I'm quite looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
Thank you for your great reviews Linda they mean a lot :) x
Lucy Edwards Thank you, i appreciate it :) Ive started my next book but only just. Im looking forward to working on it though. :)
Lucy Edwards They just pop into my head haha.
I could be doing anything and my next storyline will start forming.
Usually, just as I'm finishing one book, the next idea is ready and waiting so I'm always kept busy x
Lucy Edwards Well I've got two books in the pipeline at the moment and they're coming along nicely. Hopefully shouldn't be too much longer :-)x
Lucy Edwards It's coming along really well. I've hit a busy couple of weeks so I've not been able to write as much as I'd like but I'm still managing to get a bit done every day. As for when it will be ready? I couldn't really say but I'm about halfway finished :)
Lucy Edwards I've not started writing yet but I'm going to be starting soon. It's going to be in the romance genre because it's my favourite book genre but its going to be a lot different to R&R. Thanks for reading and I'm glad you like it x
Lucy Edwards No way! And neither should anyone else. I'll read what I want to read regardless of what people think. Its not like im asking them to read what i like to read so....there lol x
Lucy Edwards I think every author worries a little about bad reviews but my personal opinion is, if your worried that much about bad reviews then don't write a book in the first place. You will NEVER please everyone and not everyone will like your work. I think you have to be able to take criticism and while I'm happy with the books I've written, i'm prepared to take a bad review on the chin. I've not had a bad review yet as my books are fairly new but I'm sure I'll get them. Bad reviews will never put me off writing another book. The right amount of constructive criticism could actually help you write better.
Lucy Edwards I'd read so many romance books which had the bad boy falling for the good girl theme in but always found myself thinking " if only he did this" " if only he acted like this" So I thought instead of sitting there moaning about it, try and write one yourself. And here we are :)
Lucy Edwards Luckily when I wrote my first book I didn't experience writers block once. However, the sequel is a lot more challenging and I'm finding that im thinking more than writing. One thing that puts me back on track is an instrumental version of a song I heard while writing my first book. A quick blast of that gets the brain in gear for me :)
Lucy Edwards I'm currently writing part 2 of Ragdolls & Riches. The first book is currently on Amazon
