Daniel David It has to be Wonderland. After taking a potion or two, I'd like to spend an afternoon with the Caterpillar.
Daniel David The gaps in my childhood memory. People tell me things I've done that I have no recollection of. It's a little weird.
Daniel David I'm working on the second part of Migration. There are characters who's stories are eating to be told and, although it was originally meant to be a short story, it has insisted otherwise.
Then there's 'Joshua'.. a story I have been working with for a couple of years.
Joshua is a young boy, an outsider, who steps into another dimension, the energy of the universe. It's a great story, but I need to solve the mysteries of life to finish it, which is proving tricky!!
Daniel David I think I came across the term "digital immortality" somewhere, once I began to look into it I became fascinated with what that might mean to ordinary lives.
Like everybody, sometimes I'm ok with my mortality and other times it scares the crap out of me. The idea of not existing is a really hard one to digest.
With 'Migration' I wanted to explore how this might play out with different circumstances, and the characters all turned out to be women, which I liked.
