Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Janine Zachariae I wanted to know how to feel as a teenager with so many secrets around. Like family secrets or what's about that super sweet teacher. ;-)

How do you get inspired to write?
Janine Zachariae Sometimes I'd dream about something. Or it's just life.

What are you currently working on?
Janine Zachariae On a prequel of "Das magische Armband" and it's amazing to get in touch with one of the characters again.

Janine Zachariae I don't know. Maybe someone should ask me.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Janine Zachariae Create something new. That's it.
Been connected with the characters.
It's a good way to handle with life.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Janine Zachariae Never give up. They may make fun of the dream, they may laugh but one day you can say: I did it. I'd finished a book.
And that's a good feeling. No matter what.
And it is hard work.
