Hi Jackie, thank you for your question. Yes, I do plan to make Elfland available on Kindle! I'm not sure when this will happen, as I have some other titles to publish first, but it will happen eventually. So pleased to hear you enjoy my work! xx

Hi Angie, apologies for taking ages to reply! I'm so pleased you enjoyed Dracula the Undead - thank you for your kind words about it. I've no plans to write any more about Quincey, but you might enjoy my other vampire novels (A Taste of Blood Wine, and its sequels). All best, Freda xx

Hello Annette, thank you for your question. Good news! I am working on releasing ebooks of Dark Cathedral and Pagan Moon. They should be online within about a month. Thanks so much for your kind comments. You may be interested to know I have a new book coming out in March, a collection of short stories called NIGHTS OF BLOOD WINE from Telos Publishing. xx

Hi Cintia, 'writer's block' is a problem that affects nearly all writers at some point in their lives and it can have many different causes. I really sympathise, because it's something I have had to struggle with many times. If you do a google search, you'll find many sites with good suggestions for helping you to overcome the problem. What is it you want to write that you can't write? If you already have a story in your head, just try scribbling some notes. Who the characters are, what sort of world they live in. Anything. Seriously, I would advise you to just write ANYTHING that comes into your head! Write a scene where your character goes shopping, or meets someone, or has a sword-fight, rides a horse, anything at all. Write down a dream you had. Describe a cat. Honestly, just write anything at all that comes into your head - then your page won't be blank any more. Writing will seem much less scary, and soon you'll find yourself writing more and more. Don't feel you have to start at the beginning and not stop until you reach the end, because that is intimidating. What I do is build up little scenes here and there, and eventually fit them all together like a jigsaw. I really hope this helps, and good luck!

That can be a problem... I don't even have a story in my head, nothing to write about. No genre. No characters. No setting. Nothing. In 3 years. I wrote something, only to get to page 14 and realise, I don't have a plot. Not even writing itself seems to be working for me

In that case, please don't beat yourself up about it. Is there something else you can do to distract yourself? Do lots of reading, or maybe do something artistic - do you like drawing, taking photographs, making things? Or watch your favourite TV shows? It's no good trying to force yourself to write if you don't feel like it. But you might suddenly feel inspired to write while you're thinking about something else entirely. But be kind to yourself, and do something you enjoy!

That's true. I guess forcing myself to write won't help at all. I like doing artistic things, but I lose my patience soon. I suck at painting, I'm worse than a 7 year old for drawing and painting, but I can always find something different... I actually wrote fan fiction and published it, and I planned to write one per month to keep wheels moving, but even that has stopped... Words stopped coming for that too

Hi Christine, thank you for your question! So pleased to hear you loved the books. I've always been interested in creatures who seem human but aren't... like elves, vampires, angels and so on. So I wanted to write about a non-human race of my own, who were somewhat elf-like, but not! My Aetherials or Aelyr had already made an appearance in 'The Jewelfire Trilogy' (The Amber Citadel and its sequels). I decided that, rather than invent yet another similar race, my non-humans in the Elfland series would also be Aelyr, but this time in a contemporary setting. I think the idea of an 'otherworld' parallel to our own is very compelling.

Hi Ramona, many thanks for your question. I'm rather puzzled, because my novel is called ELFLAND, not Efland! Maybe a spelling mistake crept into your search! I hope you will enjoy my books all the same, and I wish you well with your research. All best, Freda.

Hi Daneesha, sorry to take so long answering your question! I'm hoping to issue all my out-of-print books on Kindle, including Dracula the Undead, over the next few months. It shouldn't be too long. Thank you for asking!

Hi Annette, sorry for the delay in replying! I hope to reissue all my backlist as ebooks eventually. I haven't yet decided what order to issue them in yet. I've just done the first one, THE COURT OF THE MIDNIGHT KING, my Richard III novel. Maybe I'll look at releasing Dark Cathedral next, since you've asked! It won't be until next year, however. Many thanks for your question!
