are you writing a sequel to rise of the arch-illager?
Matt Forbeck Not at the moment. The folks at Mojang wanted a prequel novel to help expand and set up the story for the game, but they like having the game's story — the one you create by playing it — stand on its own.

Hey Matt...just finished Carpathia, and loved it. Do you have any plans to re-visit Abe, Quin and Lucy's lives on US soil, at some point in the future? (Fingers crossed). Cheers, Adam.
Matt Forbeck Thanks, Adam! I'd love to get back to those characters sometime and see what they get up to in the States. I'm hoping to reissue Carpathia sometime soon, and that might help spur me along.

I would love to see some new Blood Bowl books come out. Will that be something that could happen ?
Matt Forbeck I'd love that too, but that's really up to Games Workshop to decide. If they want to give it a go, they know how to reach me!

If you could write a new Halo novel from any characters perspectives who would you choose? I think it'd be really cool to get the perspectives of some other members of Alpha 9 in first person one day.
Matt Forbeck That would be a lot of fun. I'd love to write a spy story from the POV of Veronica Dare too.

Will you be writing more D&D Endless Quest books? I am a school librarian, and my students cannot get enough of these. Even if they don't get to play D&D (either on their own or in the burgeoning D&D after-school club), many of them absolutely eat your books up. Please write more!
Matt Forbeck I would love to, but that's up to the publisher of the line, Studio Press/Candlewick. I don't have any on the schedule at the moment, but if they want them, I'd be happy to write them.

Excited about your upcoming DnD series!?
Matt Forbeck Very! I've played D&D since I was a kid, and I've been working on it in various forms since the AD&D 2E days. It's always fun to return to it, and I'm thrilled to be doing so in a way that's so accessible to younger readers.

Would/Will you write more Halo books?
Matt Forbeck I would love to! Whether or not I get to is entirely up to 343 (which develops and controls Halo) and Simon & Schuster (which publishes the books).

When will your "Blood Bowl" books come out on Kindle ?
Matt Forbeck They actually were finally released as ebooks in January and March. At the moment, you can only get them directly through Games Workshop rather than through Amazon. However, they come in both ePub and Mobi formats, and you can load the Mobi file onto your Kindle.
