W.O. Wainwright I avoid putting any kind of pressure on myself by realizing that there is a time and place for everything. I don't attempt to manipulate the creativity within, but rather, I attempt to always remain open to the constant flow of possibilities which are out there, just waiting to be harvested.
W.O. Wainwright Being a writer allows me to lose myself in the flow and ebb of the story which has taken root within my psychic. It's akin to my painting, where I become nothing more than a channel thru which these God given creations, seem take on a life of their own.

W.O. Wainwright I believe that writing is a talent which is cultivated and nurtured from within. It's an ongoing process and to that extent, life continually bombards us with new ideas. I also believe that; as writers, we must remain open to these ideas and stay inspired to put them on paper.
W.O. Wainwright The idea for my latest title, "Picky Patty and the Party of One" came to me while laying in bed with my wife Pat. She was picking with me. I called her 'picky patty' and the rest is history.
