The idea for "Anna Maria's Gift" came from research I did on "I, Vivaldi." Since Vivaldi taught orphan girls to play musical instruments, I wanted to write a story about one of those girls.
And the idea for "I, Vivaldi" came from my love of his music. So it goes on and on.
