Don't be so hard on yourself. Take your time to find whats your writing niche. Doesn't hurt to try different challenging genres. Go for it!!

Writer's block is like funny a nat. It doesn't away until it feels like it, or you kill it. So for me to unwind writers block, i take a break for the day and don't try to read anything with words. I go to my creative visualization method and look for sceneries, pictures, movies. Basically go outside and admire the world...
