Centred in West Australia in the North West.....the Pilbara region and involves the story of Jared Connors and his sister Keilly as they move within their large Irish family of Uncles and Aunts who had moved into the N W in the 1960's' with their parents, Niall and Sam Connors. Cattle properties and the rigours of the cattle industry opens a fine tale of give and take between the land, the climate and the family.

Write and write. Put together grammatically as much as possible and move around amongst acquaintances to gain their impressions of your work. Visit places e.g. Writer's Relief and submit your work. Take on board comments and use them to better your work

Feeling accomplishment when your storyline comes together. Two books I've written have completely different end to what I had envisioned, which provided a 'twist' at the end even for myself. Very interesting to have this happen!

leave everything to do with my writing. Take time out, relax and let new thoughts drop into your mind. I often listen to mellow, 60's 70's cd's and often a line or two will open up a way to head with my writing.

Could see possibility of adding a sequel to my previous book A Time and Place and so moved into most recent, finalizing book now. It naturally can be fashioned into adventure of living in remote North Western Australia and the family dynamics and young couple involved were what was necessary. Cancer is the lynch-pin midway through and the story is wound delicately through depression and reaction, exhaustion and exasperation, win and lose!
