Also--much as I've delighted in her unconventional career path, I'm picturing Miriam guest lecturing at a University and getting more opportunities to build on her academia dreams, just 'cause it would be fun to see what trouble she could get into, there. Yes, there is a book 4! Dominoes, Danzón, and Death will be out in 2024.

I don't know. There is an elementary school yearbook with a picture of me having won a creative writing award. I have always needed to express myself via the written (and spoken) word. My first love was poetry and as a young adult I did a lot of open mics and spoken word events.

Open a WIP (work in progress) .doc and read the last 3-4 pages. Stare at the blank space after the last sentence then type a start then backspace to erase it. Do that about 3 or 4 times and eventually something sticks!
