Currently I’m working on a much longer novel with the working title - Traffik: The Stolen.
Without giving too much away, and also because I’m also not 100% sure how it will end yet, the story follows the lives and interactions of a group of very different girls who are forced into virtual slavery after being duped by a trafficking ring. The inspiration has come from the genuine plight of many girls forced and intimidated into this situation through one on one conversations with those fortunate enough to escape.

Not such an easy question to answer. East Africa certainly helps, simply step through the door and there is abundant inspiration. Another factor is that being new to the game I still have a head full of ideas, the biggest problem that I face is the time, so many ideas….so little time!

The basis of Peninah’s Passion came to me many years ago when I was working as ‘Entertainment’ at a hotel complex in North Eastern Spain, I was surrounded by some wonderful characters and also some very shady individuals which started the idea rolling. The plot was originally heading for South Africa where I was living when the urge to write took me again, but circumstances delayed my putting pen to paper, or should I say, fingers to keyboard. Finally I found the opportunity to write and took my inspiration for the second half of the book from my adopted home here in East Africa.
