R.L. Malone I only suffered from writer's block once.......and it helped to tell someone about it. After doing so, I had someone to share my ideas with, who could praise or loathe them, and give me honest feedback. My biggest block isn't block at all, it's distractions. I am an avid movie and television watcher and I also like to read. Sometimes I'd rather play with someone else's imagination rather than mine.
R.L. Malone What I like best about being a writer is having an outlet for all of my ideas, and being able to share them with friends, family and strangers.
R.L. Malone Don't let rejection, poor reviews, or uncooperative family members discourage you from following your dream.
R.L. Malone I'm currently working on the outline for my second novel which will be a romantic dramedy written in the blog format.
R.L. Malone Inspiration can come from anywhere. Paranoia inspired one of my ideas. Sometimes it comes in the form of watching some old movie and wanting to pay homage to it in some way. Some are just excerpts from personal experiences.
R.L. Malone The inspiration for my debut novel Between Your Life and Mine came strictly from a dream I had one night in college. Incidentally I was currently working on a different novel at the time that I plan to revisit in the next few years.
