The idea came to me through reoccurring dreams. I have always enjoyed writing and I decided to write the story of one young woman's struggles in an attempt to inspire other women to find strength within their selves.

I generally do not experience writer's block. It's more so "life block." I need more time added to my day in order to get some serious writing done. I love to write! Hopefully one day, my book will take off and I'll be able to depend financially on the proceeds of my writing.

Life, imagination and my dreams inspire my writing. Sometimes I get inspired, just by watching a lunchroom full of people and imagining what happens when they go home.

Don't give up. Expect to send out a good amount of query letters, before you get a response. Keep track of who you are sending your letters out to and take all their suggestions as positive feedback, no matter how they word them. Find the determination within yourself to continue to drive you toward your goal.
