Wuthering Height’s Heathcliff and Catherine because theirs was such an epic if not tragic love story. I was enthralled by the all-consuming love, obsession and madness between the two. Such an irresistible combination!
Often when I write for Comron and Vaush, I draw inspiration from Heathcliff and Catherine’s story, only I hope to give them a much happier ending…hopefully.

Hi, Carla. So glad to have you along for the wild ride that is the Van Laven Chronicles. Originally VLC was meant to be a trilogy, but the more I write and the more ideas generated, I believe this saga will require more than a trilogy to do it justice.
In regards Comron Van Laven, indeed, he is a complex and often very disturbing character but as Vaush’s character continues to evolve we’ll see how she deftly rises to the occasion and cleverly meets the grave challenge head on.
Regarding the release of third in the series, it will likely be the end of November or early December depending on where I decide to cut off book 3 and begin book 4.
