T.R. Robinson Anyone who has read any of my books will appreciate the whole of my life IS the plot. So much has happened to me that even I find it incomprehensible. Stranger than fiction certainly holds true for much.
T.R. Robinson Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Tara watched as Peter ran to great his father, as he arrived home from work. A sudden silence followed.
T.R. Robinson Though not entirely fictional, the world Jane Austen writes about. She was a talented author with great observational skills and a marvellous sense of humour. Of course, I would rather be a member of one of the more prosperous families than a poorer one. There was a distinct gap between the 'haves' and 'have nots' in those days. But whichever I ended up in, they were very different, more settled, and calmer days.
T.R. Robinson I am a bit late getting to this question nevertheless, in case anyone is interested in what I have been reading, I will answer in retrospect.

The Man on the Corner by Suzy Stewart Dubot (My review: http://bit.ly/2LHMwIq )

Born for Life: Midwife in Africa by Julie Watson (My review: http://bit.ly/2NFj2L2)

The Business of Being a Writer by Jane Friedman (My review: http://bit.ly/33fQdv5)
T.R. Robinson Thank you for your invitation but must decline. First, your novel is not in a genre I am currently reading. Second, my TBR list is already full and due to demands upon my time it takes a very long time for me to get through even the shortest of books. Sorry to disappoint but with my time limitations I have to be realistic. Apologies for delay in responding but have had to attend to many 'life' matters which have kept me away.

T.R. Robinson Two fold:

1. Get to record events and facts that will hopefully hep others deal with their own life situations and succeed.

2. With fiction (biographical fiction for me) allows the author to share their unique perspective and imagination.
T.R. Robinson Persevere - do not be put off when things are difficult or challenging. Also, try to write each day, no matter if it seems rubbishy at the time. You will often find, if not all at least some, will make sense the next day.

Get to know other authors even if it is only through social media. There are many kind hearted people (authors) who would be glad to help answer questions about how to proceed etc.
T.R. Robinson Next couple of short stories in the 'Bitches' series. Also the next in novel that follows on from the previous 'Peter'. All are biographical fiction though it must be pointed a high percentage is based upon true events.
T.R. Robinson My ancestors lives as well as my own have been anything but 'normal'. Nevertheless, I shied away from telling people about the events because some were not only horrific but had also left me feeling ashamed though none were my fault. However, over time, as people told me their own stories I realised it would be wrong for our tales to be lost to society (there are not only lessons to be learnt but also, hopefully, some will find help and inspiration through them).
T.R. Robinson The last book published was 'Snake in the Grass' the third in the 'Bitches' biographical short story series. It oringates from events recorded in the third book 'Lost Dreams' of my abridge memoir series. All the short stories in the Bitches series are based upon true events from my own life.
