I write as I read. By that I mean, I never know where I am going to go. I do not plan much and the book takes on an exciting journey. I suppose the skill is pulling it all together in the edits so it all works and makes sense. I hope it does.

I am working on the second draft of book two in the Splidge series and a third through the 1st draft of the third book. I have another children's book, a comedy, about a third written and a grown up book half finished in draft form, but it needs more thought and work.So lots to do.

I have always loved to read and write, although I mostly worked on scripts and film ideas. Now, I am throughly in love with writing novels.

One rainy day in 1988 I sat in a dance studio, where I had an office (I was putting together a mime show) and wrote the first line apropos of nothing, 'It was always raining in the land o Gud ...' A vague story imerged and a short followed. I shelved it for many years, then in February 2013, I decided to pick it up again.
