Jay D. Clark I seldom get writer's block. I often have to suppress the urge to write a story idea or storyline revision on napkins in restaurants. But my non-writing life often limits my time to write, and then I have to sort out the jumble of "writing thoughts" I have had all day until then.

And my first library card was unrestricted, having parents who believed that if I could read it and wanted to, I should, no questions asked. Sharing stories is in my blood. So, life itself and the lives around me inspire me constantly.
Jay D. Clark I swam competitively in my youth. I grew up Mormon but could not accept the homophobia behind Prop 8. And I have both friends and relatives who live good lives with High Functioning Autism/Aspergers. So, when I had the opportunity to write in response to a Love's Landscapes author prompt, I instantly felt compelled to draw from these three vital topics and issues in writing.
