How do you get inspired to write?
Helen P. Stephens People inspire me. Funny stories and real life incidents.

What are you currently working on?
Helen P. Stephens I started a sequel to Inspired, but I'm also working up some ideas for a completely different type of story involving some kind of superhero. It's still floating around my headspace at the moment though.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Helen P. Stephens Definitely the best thing so far was that moment when my book appeared on Amazon. That was very very exciting.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Helen P. Stephens Just do it. If you have an idea for a story, just start writing it.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Helen P. Stephens I complain loudly, tweet about it and then eventually I go and play some video games until inspiration hits... sometimes I get through a lot of game play before inspiration hits...!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Helen P. Stephens I love romance novels and I love mystery stories too so I decided I wanted to write a mysterious romance. I also wanted to create a female character that I could relate to, so I made her as nerdy as I am!
