E.J. Robinson I won't be pushing the boundaries of science fiction THAT hard. Let's just say there's a tangential level of redemption. Hopefully unexpected but satisfying. And on your behalf I guarantee no kittens will be harmed in book 3.
E.J. Robinson Oddly, you are not the first person to ask this question in the same...er...tone. All I can say it I shall find redemption in book 3 - I swear!
E.J. Robinson Ha! You made my day, Mike. Book #2 is in the works and, barring a meteorite strike this week, I'm on track for a mid-March release. Thanks for the feedback and the excellent review!
E.J. Robinson I've always loved Robinson Crusoe and post apocalypse has been my favorite film genre. Putting them together seemed like a no-brainer.
E.J. Robinson I have so many ideas, I think I'll die if I don't get them out. Not that I want to rush them. I'm reminded of Annette Benning's line from Postcards from the Edge: "I'm in it for the endolphins!"
E.J. Robinson Rewriting two screenplays for independent producers and finishing the follow up to Robinson Crusoe 2244. Hoping to be done March, 2015.
E.J. Robinson The two most consistent pieces of advice are read and write all the time.

My advice is to know it's okay to not to be perfect. Just get through that first draft. You'll learn things along the way that will help you the second time around. never get stuck on those first couple chapters or you'll drive yourself kookie.
E.J. Robinson The response from a reader that they love your work. Even better when they ask about the characters as if they're real. My favorite question is: what happens next?
E.J. Robinson Alcohol. Tons of it.

Honestly, I've never had writer's block. I am prone to the occasional bout of procrastination, but fear of not being able to afford to get my kids out of the house at college time drives me to work hard.
