Rob H. Hunt Writer's block is absolutely terrible. Unfortunately, I have never found a good way to defeat this merciless terror, so I usually just write something else - entirely unrelated to the project that I am supposed to be focused on. For example, at this very moment, I should be working on the second Kyle Evans book, but instead I am answering this question. :-)
Rob H. Hunt For me, it's those very rare occasions when I write something that seems absolutely perfect. It's a great feeling to see something that was nothing more than an idea in your head translated to the written word in a way that embodies everything you felt about the moment.

Unfortunately, most of the time I have to be satisfied with: "That's as good as I am going to be able to make it." Perfection is hard to come by!
Rob H. Hunt The idea for Flicker came from a single thought. What would happen if you woke up one day and nobody knew who you were? I imagined all the reasons that this might happen and settled on the concept that most appealed to me.

I knew how the book would end long before I knew how I would get to that ending. In fact, the final two chapters were written weeks before the book was finished.
