Jacob Cooper I learn more of the story from the characters everyday as I write a little more. It took me 4 years to write Circle of Reign, and another to get it ready for publication. I did not know the beginning from the end until I got there. In contrast, Altar of Influence only took 8 months to write. It is shorter, but the real reason is because the world was already built, foundations laid.

Jacob Cooper I write short stories, outside of the manuscript I have writers block on. That's how THE RED GROVE, now released, was created...writers block helped with release a new story, ironically.
Jacob Cooper Song of a Night, book 2 of The Dying Lands Chronicle. I also have a dystopian novel I've been working on that I'll get out at some point.
Jacob Cooper Noah,

I'll have copies available for sale that are signed. Through my Facebook page or Etsy will probably be the way. More details to come as it gets closer. I'm about 20% done with the first draft, 70% with the story map.

Jacob
Jacob Cooper Hi Noah! I actually just asked him through his Facebook page if I might be able to hire him. He had to check with the union, but it turned out there wasn't a problem to do an outside job. After doing a screening read of the manuscript, he agreed rather enthusiastically. In fact, he said something really humbling to me as a first time author: "I had to apply the Sanderson rule, which is don't start reading late at night because you'll be up until 3 am."

Hope you enjoyed the story. Working hard on Song of Night!
