Just bought your new novel & can't wait to start it. Do you think in the 21st century it disgusting that Ebooks are subject to VAT?, whilst paper ones are not. They are greener & give the chance for anyone to publish books if they want.

Duncan Falconer Taxes?! I'm not an economist and so I have no idea about the values of taxes. It does sound odd that they charge VAT on e-books and not paper ones. I didn't think VAT was linked to the environment. It would be another incentive if it was.

Did your plan come to fruition? A possible trilogy that may work their way to TV?

Duncan Falconer Getting there. I have written the first book. It's just going through a polish and will then be presented to the publisher.

Any chance of another non fiction book in the future? First into Action is one of my favorite and enjoy reading how challenging the training is. Thank you again

Duncan Falconer The answer is yes. But I am currently writing the synopsis for a fiction trilogy which I hope to start writing soon. I have written the opening chapter for First Into Action 2 but I may have to wait until I've written the trilogy. Thanks for asking!

It appears that the question about a book in progress was 2 years ago. Is there any update to that answer?

Duncan Falconer Hello Fred. I have been stalling the books in favour of a couple of movie projects I have been working on. But now that I have decided to free up a great deal more of my time to writing I am in the process of outlining a Stratton book trilogy. I have to go through the process of preparing samples and submitting them to the publisher. I'm also trying to link the entire 3 book story to TV so a little more complex. Fingers crossed!

First Into Action is a great book and a wonderful read. Thank you for writing it. Any chance it would be made into a movie?

Duncan Falconer Sorry for missing this. I usually answer questions promptly but this one slipped by me. I doubt the book would ever be made into a movie. But it's possible that certain chapters could find their way onto the screen.

Duncan Falconer Hello, Hiedi. I've sort of got a bit stuck in the movie writing business for the moment. After the Stratton movie I rolled into another movie, which also led to another project I've been working on. So the short answer is no, I won't be penning a new book just yet. I have started one and have the synopsis figured out more or less, but it's finding the time right now.
