Michaela DiBernardo "The Blue Suit" is a nonfiction, episodic memoir. Unlike my other writing, it is the only nonfiction piece I've done. Initially, I wanted a record for myself of my experience on and after 9/11, and had always found it too difficult to articulate what happened and how I felt. But writing about the tragedy allowed me to let others in, because the story is shared by so many.
