Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?

Michelle Connell You sit down to write the last chapter of your novel in progress, looking forward to writing "The End". You open your file and it's blank.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Michelle Connell I don't read about very many couples, because in most books they either just meet or aren't in very many of the books by their author.

But one couple I enjoy is Mac and Annabel Smith in Margaret Truman's mysteries. Mac is a lawyer and Annabel owns an art gallery. They are highly intelligent but humble enough to help friends in trouble. They seem like they would do whatever necessary to help someone, whether it's time or money. I enjoy each of the stories they are in. Sadly, I don't think there will be anymore as Truman died several years ago.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Michelle Connell From a dream at a writer's conference. It was so vivid, I wrote down the scene as soon as I woke up. I've been working on it ever since.

How do you get inspired to write?

Michelle Connell I have loved writing since a child and enjoy working on novels. Many things can inspire me, a writing article, a book, a church sermon, a rainbow, an eavesdropped conversation...almost anything!

What are you currently working on?

Michelle Connell I am blogging a novel at http://heirforcenovel.wordpress.com about Kate and Spencer who are falling in love after Kate's boyfriend gets killed overseas.

I am also getting ready a novel called Cookie Encounter: A Chance Encounter Romance that will be available on Amazon in September 2015.
