One night, - I was about about 15 and home alone, I heard the skeleton knoking at the closet door where had been locked for a few generations. I wanted to let him out but I was afraid the dead people would come in and claim it.

I get writer's block because a. I don't know where my story is going and I am afraid I will lose control over it (which is always better then not); or b. because I doubt myself as a writer.
To get unblocked (as out of a block of ice) I need to chip away at the frost. I do that word by word, every day if needed.
