I know that a certain amount of this book is from your personal life-experience, specifically from the years after being widowed at such a young age. Was this book painful to write? Cathartic? Both?

Maxine Chadwick Not painful; somewhat cathartic by way of remembering events. I enjoyed putting a wishful thinking spin on what might have been. In the future it will probably all be possible.
