Susan Elliott I don't typically get inspired. I just write because I NEED to. With that said, watching a good movie like Thor, X-Men, or Lord of the Rings always gets the creative juices flowing.
Susan Elliott I am working on a science fiction novel, a fantasy novel and more religious material.
Susan Elliott Write! Don't tell yourself you can't. Just do it! Take classes at a college, join a writer's group. And, don't forget to read.
Susan Elliott Getting to share my thoughts, ideas and dreams with other people, and encouraging others to write.
Susan Elliott Oh, that's a good question! I usually switch creative outlets. If I'm writing non-fiction, I will delve into poetry or a fiction piece. I also pick up the paintbrush and start painting.
Susan Elliott "Humanism: A Christian's Greatest Enemy" came to life for many reasons. Several years ago I taught the book "Christianity or Humanism Which Will You Choose?" by Robert L. Waggoner, to my Ladies Bible class. While teaching I started researching, studying, and collecting papers and handouts. It was apparent that Humanism was a huge problem in our society, and that our class book, while a great resource, barely touched the hem of the garment of Secular Humanism. That's when I decided to write an article for Christian Woman Magazine on the topic of Secular Humanism. In turn, I was invited to speak on the subject of Secular Humanism at a Ladies Day, and that lead to the creation of this class book. I am very proud of this book, and its reviews.
