Ron Parham Wendy, I was fortunate to have an old Air Force buddy (sound familiar?) in Arkansas that is a published author and he recommended me to his publisher, Pen-L Publishing. The rest, as they say, is history. I was very fortunate to never (yet) experience a rejection letter, and Pen-L gave me a contract for my second novel, Copperhead Cove, due out in October.

Thank you for your question and for your wonderful review of Molly's Moon.
Ron Parham Knock on wood, I haven't experienced writer's block yet, and I have two completed novels. Whether it's luck, chance, an active left brain or whatever, I feel blessed. But I know it's out there, lurking in the shadows, waiting to grab me if I get too confident.
Ron Parham I love writing for the pure joy of writing and creating something that didn't exist before. When a novel is completed and a story takes life, it is a feeling that is hard to describe. I bawled like a baby when I wrote the last words to Molly's Moon, not realizing I still had hours and hours of edits and rewrites ahead of me.
Ron Parham I'm a 'pantser', meaning I write from the seat of my pants. When I get in front of my computer, cup of coffee steaming beside me, I'm inspired and ready to create. Most days I write for 3 to 4 hours straight, or until my bladder gives out.
Ron Parham Write, write, write and keep on writing and never give up. You never know what is just around the corner.
Ron Parham I am in the final edit stage on my second novel, Copperhead Cove. It will be published by Pen-L Publishing and will be coming out around Thanksgiving. You can read a synopsis on my personal website www.RonParham.com.
Ron Parham I was in the Netherlands during the 9/11 crisis and was stuck over there for five days. My two children used to go to Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, each year on home-building missions with their high school. I thought what a great story it would be to combine the two into what eventually became 'Molly's Moon'.
