Amelia Treader This is for "What about Cecelia?" (Yes, Goodread's I wrote it.)

We went for a hike near Llanthony prior when visiting my English family. It was so beautiful that I just had to make a story to fit it. After doing a little tiny bit of historical research Walter Savage Landor fell into my lap as the perfect humorous foil. Every time I needed a historical figure to move the action along, there was an existing plausible person.
Amelia Treader I sit at the keyboard and start.
Actually, I will start several stories. Sometimes I get fairly far along them, and then select the one that seems to flow. If I get stuck I skip the sticking point and work somewhere else. If all else fails I edit what I've written.
Amelia Treader Trying a steampunk book set in the early nineteenth century. This is a second attempt, my first sort of dead ended. (Male protagonist and clueless female :-( ) Flipping it around, with a young woman of breeding who doesn't mind a little grease and steam. She tells her mother in the first few lines, that she wouldn't mind male company, but the man for her won't mind the grease either.
We'll see how that works out.
