Thank you for your question and kind words! TOWS is part of a trilogy. Book 2 came out in November 2017 and is called Here Skies Surround Us. Book 3 is still untitled but was not picked up by the publisher. So I may be able to self-publish it one day! Its title was going to be Where Once We Dreamed.

Never stop learning. Fiction is hard work but it can be learned (G.Hyland - former mentor). The writer who thinks they are done learning will get left behind. Be involved - it's never too early to reach out to fans. And read, read, read. Read your genre, read outside your genre. Read your age group, read outside your age group. Never stop.

YA. YA. YA. Wow - do I ever love this age. I have three dystopians, two supernatural, two horror, and two contemporary that I am about 7ish chapters in and fully outlined. Outside of that there are three others with one page of notes that might one day be something!

I keep busy. There's no such thing as writer's block when you're busy. I work full-time, have two kids, take university classes, participate in a monthly writing group, and have 15 new stories on the go at one time. Staying busy gives you new experiences which lead to a neverending stream of ideas.
