Spend time thinking about what your passions are? Things that interest you and how you want the reader to learn from your knowledge or imagination? This can take months but keep writing notes and never go out without a pen and paper or phone to capture a place or an event. The magic of writing can be in one spontaneous moment but to create a book you need to put lots of these moments together. Think, create and you will achieve and inspire others - good luck everyone!

Currently I am very lucky and don't suffer with writers block. I have so many ideas after the Bugglepuff series going in all different directions that the only block is in truth having enough time in the day for writing!

The Bugglepuff and the Magic Key series. The first book is published and glittering new children's imaginations every day with chocolate bedroom doors, crazy pirate bedrooms, mystery keys and dangerous temptations.
The second and half of the third book in the series is in manuscript form but it's very exciting to create and full of creative magic which will make adults and children laugh!

Writing takes me into such a glorious world of imagination and when I watch people or are in different places I think we'll how can I push the boundaries of mine and the readers imagination. Inspiration by using your five senses as you write is a tremendous way to let the reader step into the adventure world that you've created.

The ideas for the Bugglepuff and the Magic Key series came from my own growing family's day to day haphazard escapades! I thought about writing
a more grown up book but my family and rescue pets are so colourful that an animated story was a much more delightful way to portray them. A full tecnicolour hurricane of personalities and to take them on magical quests is going to be the most exciting part!
