Because I'm a sucker for a bromance, I'd have to say either Holmes and Watson or Jeeves and Wooster. However, if we open it up to non book fiction then I'm going to go for Homer and Marge. They are funny, they compliment each other perfectly and they love the hell out of each other.

Planning and writing a story is the greatest thing in the world. I love it.

Read and write as much as you can. Write letters, lists, diaries, poems, short stories, scenes anything. Just do it. Also, don't worry if it's not very good to begin with. Even now, my first go at putting an idea on a page is pretty lousy. It will get better, I promise.

The inspiration for this book came from my love of time travel books, TV shows and movies that I watched when I was a kid. The main character, Compton, is really just a smarter, cooler version of 10 year old me.
