It's a perpetual experience. No one 'thing' inspires me to write. Life inspires me. Other writers inspire me. Dreams inspire me. Reading other books inspire me. Just about anything and everything inspires me.

I write the same way I read. That means, I'm always reading anywhere from 3-7 titles, from varying genres and authors, all at the same time. I write this way too. Currently, I have 7 active WIP's. From paranormal, to sci-fi, to romance and erotic fiction.

Be resourceful, do your research and homework, but ultimately - at the end of the day - entertain yourself first. That's it, that's your primary job. To yourself. If you can keep your own interest, then your bound to find those who will be inclined towards your version of written expression. They will find you. It's reciprocal. And have fun!

It's both creative expression and therapy for me, personally. I also immensely enjoy the readership and author communities. Serious, it's amazing.

I truly don't worry about it as I've learned my writing cycle. I typically write 3-4 days out of a week. If my creative mind needs a break, I give it one. Typically, within a couple of days, inspiration is back and I tarry on. :)
