It's entirely acceptable and expected that you are neurotic and annoying. You also get to talk about "your work" like it's a small child, which is equally irritating and satisfying.

Keep writing crap. Only when you have enough crap can you edit it into something amazing. Most amazing writing comes from something that started pretty terribly.

I'm inspired by the political climate in the United States and what I see happening in current events. Whenever I see injustice, I want to do something about it. Because I'm a writer, the best thing I can do to combat the problem is to write about it so other people will find it as important as I do.
