Just write, get it on the page. No criticism until you are done with the whole draft and then only to improve it, not to give yourself a hard time (life is already hard enough). Things look completely different when you are looking at a few paragraphs or at the book as a whole.

I just sit down and try to write. If it is really bad and I can't get anything done, I drop writing for the day and move on with something else.
