Nudity is only on one occasion (a Roman baths-type situation) and is not described - more a humorous situation concerning the reaction of a character who hadn't expected it.
Sex, I think, only happens twice in the three books and is, again, not described, only alluded to with regard to the psychological effect on a character.
Definitely not graphic in any way on both counts! Hope this helps.

After seeking some suggestions on Reddit Fantasy (and being inundated with some great suggestions!), I am now reading Theft of Swords, by Michael J Sullivan, and have Guy Gavriel Kay's The Last Light of the Sun lined up next, after which I'll be going back to either Mistborn or the Demon Cycle as I work my way through those two great series.

Apologies for the huge delay in answering - I just discovered that there were questions that had been asked!
The most recent book was the culmination of a trilogy, so I already knew the basic plot. This, however, changes as I write it - the characters and the events they experience give me new ideas and they take the story in unexpected directions.
In general, I love ancient history but have an atrocious memory, so I soak up loads of knowledge and then promptly forget most of it. It would make me an awful historical novelist but gives me a good basis for the cultures in my books and lets me play with bits and pieces of real cultures from our world when I am building my own world.

As I've said before, I have an uncontrollable imagination. Rather than inspired, I tend to be compelled.

I'm currently working on the publicity for my third novel, Hero Risen. Once that's out of the way, I'll be starting on my next trilogy, based on the same characters.

Advice? Read, write, submit. Every time you are rejected, think how you could improve it. Then repeat the process for the rest of your life.

The best thing is being read. There is no point writing a story if no one wants to read it, but when someone does, it's a great kick - and a relief!

Fortunately I haven't (touch wood) had to deal with this so far. I have a highly active imagination that is sparked by all sorts of ordinary things during a day (that's the advantage - the downside is that the same imagination sometimes keeps me from sleeping at night lol).

Not so much a mystery, or directly in my life, but my son is a professional footballer and some of the stories from behind the scenes would make the basis for a great comedy novel... once he has retired!
