Inspiration is everywhere! I get inspired by movies, dreams, TV shows, other works of fiction, phrases, shapes in the clouds, etc.. I once wrote a story based off the phrase "that was the last time I saw them".

I get most of my ideas from dreams. Afterwards I had to write and rewrite the dream sequence. Later I realized that the dream was the middle of the story. I needed to craft a beginning, and that became Initialization.

Working on editing/rewriting a story called "The Ghost" which will be released as a novella when finished. Also writing the first draft of Virtual Wars: Running which will be the 2nd book in the Virtual Wars Series.

Do it for the love of writing more than anything else and write every day no matter what. Writing is a marathon, not a sprint. Keep at it!

Sharing stories with others and having them share theirs with me. I have a profound love of good stories in general. The writing community is fantastic!

Editing and rewriting things I have already written helps to stave off the writer's block. Otherwise I have found that taking a short break, eliminating distractions, and getting a small snack usually does the job.
