Of all things, a joke on Twitter :) In 2014, St. Patrick's Day butted up against the night of the full moon, so I sent my sympathies out to folks working in emergency services, who would no doubt get a double-dose of the weirdest and worst. My co-author, Sue London, doubled down, joking about looking out for the were-leprechauns prowling the street. We took the idea and ran with it, deciding to do a send-up of urban fantasy in the process.

Currently working on a lighthearted detective novel set in a classic fantasy setting - a gnomish detective in a massive dwarven metropolis still reeling from relatively recent 'first contact' with humans from the mountains above.
