Today completed reading your "The Swastika Killer" and really enjoyed it. I loved the way you have combined the German history with the Indian traditions. I also loved the way you have described the characters, their mannerisms especially of Bala and even the locations, let they be the slums of Mumbai or the terrains of Afghanistan. I hope to see this book as as TV series. Can this be possible ?
Mahendra Jakhar Thanks a lot Mukund for writing in. Yes talks are on to adapt it into a web series. The rights of my first book The Butcher of Benares have already been bought by a major film studio. You can also read that.

I've just completed reading "The Swastika Killer".It was a captivating read and the story plot intricately tied together all the characters. I've also read "The butcher of Benares".It was also really good.Could you please share about any new books that's on progress ?
Mahendra Jakhar Hi Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback on both books and I'm happy that you enjoyed them. Well, I'm working on my next book that will bring back the character Hawa Singh whom I introduced in The Butcher of Benares. This time Hawa Singh unearths a new mystery set in Mumbai that again will combine Mystery, History and Mythology.

Mahendra Jakhar Thanks for your good words. Yes, currently I'm working on the film script of Chandamama Door Ke ... India's first space adventure film about India's very first mission to Moon. It stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Nawazuddin Siddique, Madhavan and will be directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

What are you currently working on?
Mahendra Jakhar I'm in the process of finalizing the edit for my next book to be published by Westland in 2016. Also I'm working on the film script of CHANDAMAMA DOOR KE ... India's first space adventure film about India's most daring mission to the Moon to be directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan. And there's a web series that I'm writing.
