A few things. One, it's the sense of accomplishment you get from seeing a project through to fruition. Two, it's the excitement from reading reviews of people you have never met but love your stories and characters. And third and most importantly the pride I hear in my daughters voices when they tell friends and family that their dad has written a book. It really is about the little things...
