I am working on final edits for A Curse of Blood and Wolves, my Little Red Riding Hood retelling coming this October! It's the first in The Wolf Brother series and I'm so excited for you guys to read it!
I also have a new secret (not really) identity as Laurie Gilmore. Under that pen name, I'm cooking up a small-town series, the first of which is called The Pumpkin Spice Cafe. That one comes out on August 30!

I come up with most of my ideas while doing boring tasks like washing dishes or driving. My brain does not like to be quiet so I can either think about my next story idea or I can worry about whether or not my kids eat too much sugar. It's more fun to think up new stories.

Read, read, read! Especially in the genre you want to write. And then just start writing! It's not going to be good at first, but that's what first drafts are for (and seconds and thirds). The only way to get better at writing is to do it.
