Tim Meyer Haha. Thanks, Lisa! We're hard at work writing books 4 & 5 together. That will conclude the series! Hopefully we'll complete it sometime this century. :-)
Tim Meyer Hi Blue Angel! I've lived about 15 minutes from Seaside Heights my entire life. That's very cool you used to spend time there! It sure has changed a lot over the years. That's very unfortunate about Amazon. Personally, as a reader, I prefer Goodreads over Amazon's ratings and review system. Thanks for being a prolific reviewer! I know the writing community appreciates it. Good luck with future reviews and if there's anything I can do to help, let me know!
Tim Meyer Yes! In the House of Mirrors will be hitting the audiobook market any day now. Less Than Human is scheduled for sometime later this year. I'd love to turn the Demon Blood series into audiobooks, but I might wait until after the last book is out to do so.
Tim Meyer No, although I can see where you'd think that. No, Ralston wasn't really drawn from any one person in particular. I just liked the idea of an ex-priest who harbored many secrets. He was actually one of my favorites to write.
Tim Meyer Good question and definitely not an easy one to answer. I'd say if you have a good idea, try and partner with someone who can help you write it. A close friend. A family member. I have little experience on the cinema side of things, but I know writing a screenplay is much different than a book (and in my opinion, much easier). Also, how do you know you don't have the skills unless you try? Right? I thought that way when I started writing, and in the beginning, I wasn't very good. I'm still improving, but that's sort of what writing is; constantly improving on previous endeavors. Try taking your idea and fleshing it out; turn it into a story. Then try to write it. Who cares if it's bad? No one has to see it. But you'll never know unless you try :-) My other advice would be never give an idea to a professional writer because there's way too many legal ramifications that could arise.
Tim Meyer Like the old saying goes, never say never. As of right this very second, Mr. Giggles is once again a denizen of Hell, right where he belongs. But who knows - Demon Blood III is happening within the next few years, and with the way II ended, I'd say anything is possible. :-)
Tim Meyer Always working on something: a post-apocalyptic serial entitled "Sunfall", a semi-supernatural detective novella, and some other novellas I plan to release next year.
Tim Meyer SUNFALL: Last summer I was outside with the sun beating down on the back of my neck. I thought to myself: wouldn't it be crazy if I just started melting or bursting into flames? So I invited a few friends to help expand on this idea and the next thing we knew we had a post-apocalyptic serial in the works!
Tim Meyer I don't believe much in writer's block. For me, I hit a block when I don't do enough research or outlining.
