You will gravitate to the kind of writing you like best and the styles and voices you feel most comfortable with, and that's where you'll find fulfillment as a writer.

Even nonfiction writers get writer's block. When I hit a wall, I go back to a chapter I've already written and revise it. Doesn't have to be much, just enough to kind of get me back on track. Or I'll write a post for my blog to get me into the mindset. Anything to get the juices flowing.
