The second book to Secrets of Silver & Steam (is my main focus), and some other fantasy works. I began dabbling with what I called a "practice novel," where I challenge myself in both narrative and dialogue. I rework the structure to also practicing editing as a self-published author. Then I started liking the story, so its become another novel in the works. I've also got a kids fantasy series where I've conceptualized it as a dedication to my kids.

I'm weird and I wonder about a lot of things most people don't. Sometimes, I'll get a story idea, but it doesn't go the distance cause I lose interest. What keeps me focused on a story to complete a novel isn't the amount of time I've invested, it's the connection I have to the world. When I continue thinking about the story consistently, then I feel inspired to continue with it.

I was conversing with my mother-in-law about Steampunk and Jules Verne's novels. The next thing I knew, I started getting ideas for the Secrets of Silver & Steam as a series of first-person narratives of the world I created. In my first sit-down for the novel, I wrote over fifty pages in one afternoon. From there, I developed more of the concept, built a unique world, and envisioned characters for the series.
