Hey! Thanks for the question.
José was never supposed to be a central character in the series. His character developed by chance as M&S went along. I've gotten lots of requests for more José though. I'm writing Chris' book right now and he has already made appearances. I don't always plan stuff, he just sort of shows up. I don't know yet if he will get his own book or if I will put him in a love triangle with someone else. I can say for sure that he will get a HEA. And sex. I really want to write some José sex!! I can also say for sure that he will not get his HEA in Chris' book, so it will likely be the subsequent one I write.

I might be a little dense here, but I'm not sure what you're asking me for. Can you clarify? And thanks for the bio props. It took me a hot minute to write something that didn't sound lame or go on for ten pages.

Every book I write has a piece of me or my life in it. It may be that the heroine has a quality I share. It could be a city I've lived in, or a job I've had. I move around a lot so inspiration is always there if I want it. I just have to look around. Usually something jumps out at me and characters develop in my head. They get mad if I don't write their story. Good Lord, I sound like a nut case...

I started working on a book from the L&J series. It is told in Chris' POV and will be able to be read as a standalone for those who haven't read the other L&J books. Of course, with spin offs, its always cooler if you already know the characters, but will be unnecessary for this book. It is still untitled at this time.
Chris' book delves into her background (including 4 hot brothers), why she hates St. Louis so much, as well as how the STL MC will be rebuilt and who was working with Burns. You will also get more input into Elle and J's relationship as he now has to figure out if he wants to be deep in the MC or on the fringes.
So far, Chris is seriously hard core. If Elle offended you, Chris is going to make you run to church and jump in a vat of holy water. But, she makes no apologies. She loves sex, weed, and her BFF. Through the story, you find out why she uses weed to avoid thoughts about her past, why her friendship with Elle is so important to her, and that she is a woman who can have sex without love. She's the Samantha (a la Sex and the City), but is there a man who can make her a Carrie? We shall see. (You know there's a hottie just waiting to be the ONE.)
This won't be ready until late summer. Sorry folks, I'm just made another international move. I can't seem to keep my feet on the ground :)
Happy reading!
